Service scope

  1. PDF Redactor provides document-processing tooling and does not provide legal advice.
  2. You are responsible for selecting correct redaction targets and validating output quality before distribution.
  3. You must have authorization to upload and process each document through the service.

Retention and deletion

Temporary files Uploaded and generated PDFs are short-lived processing artifacts and are removed after download or periodic cleanup windows.
Usage analytics Anonymized usage counters may be stored to improve reliability and redaction quality.
Feedback data Optional ratings and feedback text may be stored for product improvement.

Do not submit credentials, secrets, or sensitive account tokens in feedback fields.

Compliance and enterprise requests

  1. For regulated workflows, run the service in a controlled environment with HTTPS, host allowlists, and restricted admin access.
  2. Document your internal approval process for pre-share redaction QA.
  3. For DPA and security questionnaire requests, contact the operator of your deployment.

Incident reporting and support

If you suspect a security event, disable public access where needed and contact your deployment operator immediately.

Recommended report details Timestamp, deployment URL, affected endpoint, and observed behavior.
Priority handling Security-impacting incidents should be triaged ahead of non-critical feature requests.
